Momogi Group Expands into Canada with First Export Shipment, Strengthening Its Presence in North America

Jakarta, 5 June 2026 – Momogi Group, one of Indonesia’s leading food and beverage manufacturers, has further expanded its international footprint with its first export shipment to Canada. On 15 May 2026, the company officially shipped 165,000 units of its signature Momogi snack products to the Canadian market, marking a significant milestone in its entry into one of North America’s largest consumer markets.

The inaugural shipment represents another important step in Momogi Group’s global expansion strategy and further strengthens the company’s international distribution network, which now spans more than 40 countries across multiple regions. Entering the Canadian market reflects the growing acceptance of Indonesian snack products worldwide while reinforcing the company’s commitment to expanding into high-potential export markets.

Canada is one of the world’s attractive markets for the confectionery and snack industry. According to Statista, the country’s confectionery and snacks market is projected to reach approximately US$16.9 billion in 2025 and is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of around 5.2% through 2030. The snack food segment alone is forecast to reach US$9.4 billion in 2025, with an annual growth rate of approximately 6.0% over the next five years. This growth is driven by increasing demand for convenient food, rising consumer interest in international flavors, and a growing preference for innovative, ready-to-eat snack products.

Against this positive market outlook, Momogi Group’s first shipment to Canada represents a strategic step toward establishing a long-term distribution presence while introducing Indonesian snack products to consumers who are increasingly embracing global food choices.

Ina Tuti Marlina, Vice President of International Business Development at Momogi Group, said that the company’s entry into Canada marks an important milestone in its international growth journey.

“Our entry into Canada represents another significant milestone in Momogi Group’s international expansion. We see strong opportunities in the Canadian market, supported by growing demand for snack products and consumers who are increasingly open to discovering global food brands. This achievement also demonstrates the growing competitiveness of Indonesian snack products in international markets,” she said.

The expansion into Canada further reinforces Momogi Group’s global growth momentum throughout 2026. Earlier this year, the company expanded its distribution network into several new markets, including Iraq, Lebanon, Mongolia, and Liberia. These milestones reflect Momogi Group’s commitment to bringing its products to strategic markets across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and now North America. Alongside its international expansion, the company continues to invest in product innovation and portfolio development to better meet the evolving preferences of consumers worldwide.

Looking ahead, Momogi Group remains committed to expanding access to international markets through a sustainable export strategy, strengthening partnerships with distributors around the world, and introducing more Indonesian snack products to consumers across the globe.
