Jakarta, September 2026 – SBD (Sukses Bersama Distributor), Momogi Group’s distribution entity, is collaborating with SUN on the procurement and implementation of electric vehicle (EV) trucks to support a more environmentally friendly distribution transformation. Initial EV truck operations are scheduled to begin in October 2026, with fleet deployment planned in phases toward a target of 150 units to support the distribution of Momogi Group products.
As part of Momogi Group’s distribution ecosystem, SBD ensures product availability across the market through a network of more than 150 depots and sub-distributors throughout Indonesia. This network serves Momogi Group’s portfolio of more than 100 stock-keeping units (SKUs). As the company’s distribution reach expands and its product portfolio becomes increasingly diverse, the need for reliable, efficient, and sustainable fleet operations continues to grow.
Through its collaboration with SUN, SBD is initiating fleet electrification based on its operational distribution requirements. SUN provides electrification solutions for commercial vehicles, including electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, and electrification roadmap planning.
“The implementation of EV trucks is a tangible step for SBD in building more sustainable distribution operations. We view fleet electrification as part of our long-term journey toward creating a distribution system that is increasingly adaptive, efficient, and environmentally conscious. Together with SUN, we will implement this initiative in phases, taking into account operational needs and readiness in the field,” said Mareto, Chief Operating Officer of SBD.
The electrification of commercial fleets is gaining momentum as companies increasingly seek more efficient transportation solutions that support their sustainability agendas. Successful implementation requires careful consideration of vehicle suitability for operational routes, charging infrastructure readiness, and a phased approach to fleet expansion.
This initiative forms part of Momogi Group’s broader green logistics strategy, as the company continues to develop business operations in line with its growth while responding to the industry’s increasing focus on more sustainable operational practices.
