Jakarta, September 29, 2026 – Momogi Group, one of Indonesia’s leading snack food manufacturers, has provided humanitarian assistance in the form of products valued at IDR 33.36 million to the Indonesian Red Cross Society (PMI) to support communities affected by the Flores earthquake in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) through its Momogi Berbagi program. The donation was symbolically handed over at PMI Headquarters in Jakarta on September 29, 2026, reaffirming Momogi Group’s commitment to supporting disaster-affected communities, particularly children and families, throughout the recovery process.
Momogi Berbagi is Momogi Group’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, serving as a platform for the company to deliver social contributions to communities across Indonesia. Through this initiative, Momogi Group seeks to leverage its resources and capabilities to provide meaningful support that responds to community needs.
For this donation, Momogi Group collaborated with PMI to support communities affected by the Flores earthquake in East Nusa Tenggara. The magnitude 7.7 earthquake that struck the Flores region affected residents and damaged facilities across several impacted areas. These circumstances highlight the continued need for humanitarian assistance, both during emergency response operations and throughout the recovery process.
According to data from the East Nusa Tenggara Provincial Government as of August 30, 2026, the disaster resulted in 115 fatalities, 1,780 injuries, and 172,050 displaced people. Approximately 90,600 houses were also reported damaged to varying degrees. As an Indonesian fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company whose everyday products are closely connected to consumers, Momogi Group seeks to make a direct contribution to communities in need.
Through Momogi Berbagi, Momogi Group donated products worth a total of IDR 33.36 million to PMI to support communities affected by the Flores earthquake. This collaboration forms part of the company’s efforts to leverage its resources in support of humanitarian response initiatives and help address the needs of affected communities.
“Through our collaboration with PMI, we hope this product donation will benefit communities affected by the Flores earthquake, especially children. As a brand that has long been part of the lives of Indonesian children and families, Momogi aims to share the spirit of giving while providing support that people can experience directly. For Momogi Group, caring for communities is an integral part of our growth journey, as we continue striving to create a positive impact across Indonesia,” said Natanael Yonathan, Vice President of Marketing at Momogi Group.
Beyond product distribution, Momogi Group hopes the assistance will provide meaningful support to affected communities while bringing moments of happiness to children living in areas impacted by the Flores earthquake. Momogi’s close connection with Indonesian children and families is one of the reasons the company delivers support through products that are part of consumers’ everyday lives. In this way, Momogi Berbagi goes beyond providing donations by seeking to deliver support that resonates with its beneficiaries.
The collaboration with PMI also plays an important role in ensuring that assistance contributes to a coordinated humanitarian response in affected areas.
Moving forward, Momogi Group will continue to develop Momogi Berbagi as part of its commitment to delivering sustainable social contributions that respond to community needs. The program will continue to support a range of social, humanitarian, and community empowerment initiatives through collaboration with various stakeholders.
Guided by its Growing Together spirit, Momogi Group believes that corporate growth should go hand in hand with positive contributions to society. Through Momogi Berbagi, the company hopes to continue creating meaningful impact across Indonesia and supporting collective efforts to assist communities in need.
