PT Sukses Makmur Abadi (Momogi Group) Strengthens Distribution Governance with BPOM SMKPO Certification

Jakarta, October 2026 – PT Sukses Makmur Abadi, the distribution business unit under Momogi Group, officially obtained the Processed Food Safety Management System (SMKPO) Certificate from Indonesia’s National Agency of Drug and Food Control (BPOM) on September 1, 2026. This certification marks the company’s commitment to implementing consistent food safety and quality standards throughout its distribution operations, covering every stage from product receipt and storage to handling and delivery to customers.

In the food industry, the implementation of safety and quality standards is not limited to the production stage but also extends to product storage and distribution processes. This is in line with BPOM Regulation No. 21 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Processed Food Safety and Quality Assurance Systems at Distribution Facilities, which governs risk-based supervision through Good Processed Food Distribution Practices (Cara Peredaran Pangan Olahan yang Baik or CPerPOB). In this context, the SMKPO certification obtained by PT Sukses Makmur Abadi forms part of the company’s efforts to ensure that processed food distribution is conducted in accordance with applicable safety and quality standards.

For Momogi Group, obtaining the SMKPO certificate represents part of its efforts to strengthen corporate governance and implement food safety standards at the distribution level. This approach ensures that the company’s commitment to food safety extends beyond production processes to product handling and distribution.

“The SMKPO certification obtained by PT Sukses Makmur Abadi represents a tangible step by Momogi Group in strengthening governance and food safety standards at the distribution level. We believe that maintaining product quality requires consistent risk-based monitoring at every stage of the supply chain. Therefore, we continue to promote standardized procedures, internal monitoring, and a work culture that prioritizes food safety and quality,” said Servin Njoo, Director of Momogi Group.

The implementation of food safety standards has become increasingly relevant as Momogi Group continues to expand its product portfolio, including Hatago, which offers a snack option with a healthier concept. Amid product diversification and broader market reach, maintaining food safety standards throughout distribution is essential to ensure consistent product handling until products reach consumers. Momogi Group’s distribution network currently reaches more than 100,000 outlets across Indonesia, supported by approximately 150 depots and sub-distributors.

As part of its ongoing responsibility following the certification, PT Sukses Makmur Abadi is committed to maintaining consistent food safety standards through internal audits based on Good Processed Food Distribution Practices (CPerPOB), submitting audit reports to BPOM every six months, and implementing periodic operational corrective actions. These measures form part of the company’s efforts to maintain compliance with applicable regulations while strengthening customer confidence in its processed food distribution operations.
